Thesauri is one of the world’s precious few companies involved in sturgeon farming and caviar production – and the only such enterprise in Greece.
Throughout our 20-year history, our source of inspiration has been Ioannis Varvakis, the pioneer behind the vacuum packing method which made the international distribution of caviar possible. Not surprisingly, he is considered the father of caviar.
Thesauri was the proud sponsor and sole caviar provider of the much anticipated movie God Loves Caviar by Yannis Smaragdis, which was released on October 2012.
The company’s products, in total 8, are destined exclusively for overseas markets and due to their excellent quality, they claim and gain a prominent position even on the Russian market. The extroversion of the company in the overseas market also constituted the need for a simple but luxurious packaging containing a freeze pack that will hold the main metallic caviar at a temperature acceptable for transport.
We at Lyhnia created a package by using papago paper with internal lamination / waterproofing for the ice pack that comes in contact with the metal packaging, all wrapped in a paper. Finally, the package was “tethered” on the four sides, forming a transfer handle.
